Child’s Pose (Balasana):

This is my favorite pose to do before going to sleep.  It’s a basic kneeling forward fold.  Forward folds are calming to the mind.

Benefits:

·       Opens the upper back

·       Stretches ankles, knees, and hips

·       Opens the pelvic floor, hips, and low back

·       Quiets the abdominal organs

·       Generates feelings of comfort and release

·       Relieves stress
